Aldershot [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aldershot] and Farnborough [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farnborough,_Hampshire] are close together in southeastern England, in the northeast of Hampshire, near the border with Surrey (~35 miles southwest of London)

The handwriting on the IWM glass negative is the same as on several of the nearby photos in the Bain stream, suggesting that they originate from the UK.
