(There is a lot of info online about this aircraft 44-44052) B-24J Liberator bomber with "All American" nose art. I believe the other side had a 'beer' nose art, including a clothed woman sitting atop a globe. She had been in service (1968 thru 1981, I believe) with the Indian Air Force, When brought to the U.S. she was badly scavenged. She eventually became part of the Collings Foundation's annual "Wings of Freedom Tour" of the United States, visiting 100 cities along with the B-17 "Nine-O-Nine", TP-51C dual-seat Razorback Mustang Fighter "Betty Jane", and now other aircraft. The tour visits San Diego every year. I volunteered and flew in her numerous times when she was painted to honor the WWII aircraft of note, "Dragon and his Tail", and later (flying still in Feb., 2019) repainted as "Witchcraft".

B-24H-15-FO, s/n 42-52534. Assigned 790th BS, 467th BG, nicknamed "Witchcraft". Completed 130 combat missions, the most flown by a B-24 in the ETO. All were flown without a single abort due to mechanical problems or injury to any crew member. Returned to US and sold for scrap 1945.

I have crewed on this B-24 serial number 44-44052 for the Collings Foundation, during the annual "Wings of Freedom Tour" of the United States.
