Volvo didn't make many cars in the early years- mostly trucks. Their best sales year before the war was about 2000 units. This is a rare one.

The town hall looks indeed quite modern, still it was built in 1938, created by the Swedish architects Yngve Ahlbom and Nils Sterner. It was made in red brick - a tradtional building material in Halmstad. /Anna B.

Not quite This is the Viggen wooden mock up ( hence the 0) and my bet it is on the press day April 4th, 1965. The true prototype (37-1) was not rolled out until Nov 24th 1966. Stig
