    "One of the dwellings in the western end of the district (1060 National Highway) was the former office/gift shop of the Kozy Kamp Motel. Tourist cabins associated with the motel were located on the present-day site of the BP Gas Station, which is located at the western edge of the district.     That's an amusing misspelling of bienvenidos on the sign. I looked for this place on Google street view to see if the sign might still be there. The motel is still there. But this sign is gone. FYI, the motel is at 7229 Alameda Avenue rather than Alameda Street. Also, the highway route number is currently designated as 20, not 90.
