I love looking back in time via photos like this. What a different world they had back then, one I would have loved to been a part of. Of course there was no Flickr back then. :)

Vice President of the United States James Sherman died on Oct 30, 1912, at age 57, while serving as VP of the United States (President Taft was in office). He died during the presidential re-election campaign (won by Woodrow Wilson) according to Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_S._Sherman

I need a hat like that! I went to a private school that had uniforms involving shirts and ties every day. Then I worked in jobs needing the same. Now I have a job where I make a lot more money with casual attire. I like casual much better. My great grandfather wouldn't come to meal in his own home without a tie on. To each generation their own!
