A Geisha. This dance move is still done today by a few Geisha.

A kind of game or dance called "shachihoko dachi" (lit. "head stand"). The shape of the body is supposed to resemble a shachihoko - imaginary sea creatures with tiger-like heads. The Nagoya castle has a pair of golden shachihoko on top of the main tower.
