Unfortunately, the name "Bridal Veil" has been overdone in the Blue Mountains, with multiple references to different waterfalls. For example, Govetts Leap was also known as Bridal Veil Falls until the UN required a name change in 1976 as a requisite for World Heritage status so as to distinguish those falls from Bridal Veil Falls on Leura Creek. This photograph is indeed of Katoomba Falls - the base of the first drop to be precise - but as far as I can tell the feature has never been known as "Bridal Veil" (ref: Blue Mountains Geographical Encyclopaedia, 2018). Just to the right of where this photograph was taken, the rock base ends with a sheer drop to the ultimate base of the falls. This is plainly Pago Pago, American Samoa.

Photograph by Arthur Green taken during his 1868 visit to Bermuda showing the then town of Hamilton from Fort Hamilton, contained in the ’50 Views of Bermuda’ album (Eastman Museum and Royal Collection Trust). The four story Mill House (now part of the Bermuda Motors Church Street property) appears in the centre of the photograph with its large chimney apparently removed between 1895 and 1900, while directly behind is the Alexandrina (or ‘Oddfellows’) Hall constructed in the early 1860’s. To the right is the Sessions House before the 1892-1893 Jubilee Clock Tower and verandah were added, the then unfinished Trinity Church constructed 1844-1883 and St Andrews Church, constructed 1846 appear on the right. the 1861 Memorial to Governor Reid (1839-1846) is seen on the left adjacent to the Public Building, constructed 1838-1840.
