Arthur Tannahill who died in 1945 (and was married to Isabella) arrived in 1908 and either worked for or owned Equator Sawmills. He then worked for the Land Office in Nairobi. In 1932 he became President of the Kenya Golfing Society. He was awarded the OBE. So it may be possible to gather further information on this particular photographer.
