This is custom built Stoddard-Dayton camping car built for T.Coleman DuPont (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T._Coleman_du_Pont) for his use in constructing the DuPont Highway through the state of Delaware.

I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, and a member of the Republican Party who served parts of two terms as United States Senator from Delaware. He was known by his middle name.
