This cannot be Boris Petrov Sarafov, who died aged 35, this man looks much older. It is Mihail Savov (born 14 November 1857 in Stara Zagora, died on 21 July 1928 in Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey, France), Bulgarian general (original caption on top of the photo is "GEN. SAVOFF"), en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mihail_Savov. In 1913, he was blamed for the defeat of the Bulgars against Serbian and Greek troops, see e.g. The times dispatch., August 24, 1913, Page 4, with photo The Madisonian., September 02, 1913, Image 2, with photo.
