This is the Curtiss HA-2 A4111. Pity you have changed the quality of your scans. Some photos are so small it is hard to see what they actually show. Stig

This is the rare four-engined configuration of the Curtiss NC-2 four-engined configuration. Two engines in each pod, with one as a tractor and the other as a pusher. Separate radiators, which are clearly visible. There is between the engine pods a construction for the crew, probably the technicians to service the engines in flight. As the NC-2 was later reconfigured to the four engined version with one two-engine pod (tractor and pusher) in the middle and two engine pods with one engine (tractor). Curtiss was heavy experimenting with engine configuration on this big flying boat, the NC-1 started as the trimotor configuration with all engines as tractors ! Rare picture.
