    I spent too many years photoing rotobales ( 4 albums worth), they danced and raced around the fields, some even had emotional troubles

Per the Sydney Mail the pic was taken at F.C. Rowlands' farm 'Werribee', at Waugoola, near Cowra, in Central Western NSW. This other pic was also evidently taken at 'Werribee'.     This is only one step of the harvest process. The stooks or shocks still have to be threshed to separate the oats from the chaff.
