    One thing about these photos that strikes me: In the black (or "negro") photos, you get he sense that if you we're to stumble upon this gathering, you would most likely be welcomed. On the other hand the photos of the scowling, predominantly all-male "mountaineers," we'll, they don't seem like a very hospitable bunch.
