Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Disability History, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

Dear pennylrichardsca, Marjorie Lawrence even danced the Seven Veils in Strauss's opera Salome when she was young. Another great Australian operatic soprano with a disability (multiple sclerosis or MS) was Florence Austral, who later taught at the Conservatorium of Music, Newcastle, Australia.

As www.forte-piano-pianissimo.com/Novaes-Plays-Encores.html shows, photos of her vary a lot.
