I just did a little google search on this amazing building and found a replica built in Minot, North Dakota USA. www.norskwoodworks.com/golstave.shtml -- Seen in your Photochrom Travel Views set. (?)

And actually the Norwegian spelling would be "Gol stavkirke", and it is not located in Oslo, but in a city called "Gol"

This is the church from Gol, but it was moved to Oslo (Christiania) in 1884, to be a part of King Oscar II's outdoor museum, now called Norsk folkemuseum (Norwegian folk museum).
