I think this is a glitch in the system - the image is not of a dam under construction, but seems to be of a dugout house - I seem to recall seeing a similar image from New Mexico perhaps ?

Now that the correct black-and-white is up, the above is simply for histerical porpoises :)

This is NOT the Shasta Dam area. Vegetation indicates somplace more montain, eastern and drier. The blooming vegetation is probably Rabbit Brush and I suspect the trees near the house are Pinion Pine or perhaps Lodgepole. Anyway, it's someplace high and dry and nowhere near the Redding, California area.

This is the same image as #8 on page 68. Catalog No is same for both, although description differs.
