Daceyville, garden suburb, from Randwick Road, August 1915 / photographer unknown

There's some useful photographs of Daceyville at State Records NSW on Flickr here: www.flickr.com/photos/state-records-nsw/sets/721576217759...

They are the shops at the Gardeners Rd roundabout number 369 Anzac Pde (formerly Randwick Rd). Note the elbow in the road is actually caused by the crease in the photo, it's mostly straight. To the left is the intersection with Gardeners Rd turning right and Bunnerong Rd continuing straight ahead. Anzac Pde actually veers left out of view. The small building at left centre still stands in the park on Bunnerong Rd.

She should have ducked instead of weaving. More boxing lessons required.

The gentleman with the hat is holding a wine bottle, and the woman cradling the subject of the photo is holding a cup. The subject of the photo is smiling. Her hat is in the tall grass. A man is standing in the dune watching.
