That is not a tug, its the Shields Ferry "South Shields" coal fired steam recip which was in service from 1911 -1968. Ellerman Lines "City of Wellington" in the background is in Brigham & Cowans drydock.

The Titan was a floating crane. Shipped out to India with some of the yard swan neck cranes and the floating dock in May 2009. There is a very sad video showing the heavy lift ship Osprey leaving the Tyne with the Titan on board at www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GJsiDLIG9g.
