Kilted Cowboy: Thank you for the additional information about Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich. We will include some of it in the description when we update.

This photo is incorrectly identified. The names are reversed. This is GD Alexander Mikhailovich. He was 1st cousin once removed and brother-in-law of Tsar Nicholas II: the husband of Nicholas' sister GDss Xenia Alexandrova. He was also the author of 'Once a Grand Duke', 'Always a Grand Duke', and another book whose name escapes me.

hisimperial majesty: Thank you for providing us with the correct information here. We'll fix our description next time we update.

This is Sandro, not Michael, and the label has still not been corrected.

Wow, that is Czar Nicholas II of Russia. Is that a postcard?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_II_of_Russia Poor Nicky. He wasn't a good ruler, but he & his family didn't deserve to get gunned down like that.

Thanks! We'll put his complete name in the source data and reload the description.
