This photo is incorrectly identified. The names are reversed. This is GD Alexander Mikhailovich. He was 1st cousin once removed and brother-in-law of Tsar Nicholas II: the husband of Nicholas' sister GDss Xenia Alexandrova. He was also the author of 'Once a Grand Duke', 'Always a Grand Duke', and another book whose name escapes me.
