I believe that the man (seated) in this photo - in the 'RAAF' top holding a white cup - is (Wing Commander) Robin Henry Seaborn Gray (DFC). His RAAF service records in the National Archives record his posting to Wyatt Earp and the 1948 expedition. Later he went on to join his friend (Wing Commander) Bobby Gibbes in Papua New Guinea and Gibbes Sepik Airways. He died in Brisbane in 1986.
