Thanks artolog, we will add the address to the record. For those trying to figure out which building it is, it's hard to see the numbers on here, but when you zoom in on the full version in our catalog, you'll see it is the building with the "Restaurant" sign.

Anton Mente was an Austro-Hungarian immigrant who was arrested in New York in 1915 and accused of plotting to plant bombs. select.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F2071EF6385B1773... He denied the charges but eventually pleaded guilty to "violating the Tenement House Act" and was sentenced to one year in prison. query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=F70A13FE3B5B17738... I can't find any mention of what happened to him after that.

Anton is a relative, a cousin, several generations back. He was arrested in 1915 served 1 year on jail, joined the Army around 1917 and then became a US Citizen. He was actually intervied in a newspaper on the day he became a US Citizen. His full name is Anton Frout Mente, and he later changed his name to Frank Mente. He was born in 1892 in BakonySzentLaszlo, Vesprem, Hungary. He immigrated to the US in 1906 He died in the 1960's and is buried in a Veterans Cemetery in Long Island. He worked as an electrition in New York in Brooklyn. He never married.
