in the foreground it's possible to see the Pyramid of Cestius that was built in the 12th century B.C. It's the tomb of Gaius Cestius, a magistrate and member of one of the four great religious corporation in Rome.

I think i'm right in saying that this was before the sphinx was excavated a bit (because we can't see its legs) and before it was damaged some more by troops using it as target practice in the war
