I remember also searching endlessly for 'Petite' late last year & not returning these results (I did find something about a contortionist called Petite but that was a dead end." I think the Sunday Times link actually is the same photograph. More photos of Peggy to come! (And a blog I feel...) Cheers, Penny

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/51979177@N02] Suggestion noted. So Vernon & Patsie appear in the newspapers in January 1928, Peggy Petite's portrait is April 1927. The number on Phyllis Baker's negative is 4134 and her image appears early - in March 1927. So the Hall numbers could be chronological. It's quite possible Vernon & Patsie had a history of performing together - the article mentioned they were both engaged on the 'Fuller Circuit'.
