[http://www.flickr.com/photos/51979177@N02] Suggestion noted. So Vernon & Patsie appear in the newspapers in January 1928, Peggy Petite's portrait is April 1927. The number on Phyllis Baker's negative is 4134 and her image appears early - in March 1927. So the Hall numbers could be chronological. It's quite possible Vernon & Patsie had a history of performing together - the article mentioned they were both engaged on the 'Fuller Circuit'.

pennylrichardsca (now at ipernity) Absolutely agree! We have a few portraits of this beauty, same hairstyle & most have what appears to be the word 'Petite' on the negative. I wonder if this is a clue to her identity? Maybe one day we will find out :)
