This picture is linked with picture LC-B2-2579-8 which is dated March 6, 1912. Orozco troops are parading in front of Palacio Federal (Federal Palace) and Hotel Francia, through Calle Libertad. Across the street, to the left is located Palacio de Gobierno (Governor's Palace). See article in El Paso Herld of March 6th, 1912 (The Library of Congress, Cronicling America) "OROZCO TAKES ARMS AGAINST MADERO": It mentions Gen. Campa and Orozco arrival to Chihuahua. "El Gran Lente" was a photographic studio located right on the opposite corner to the right wing of the Palacio Federal", behind the camera. Pascual Orozco, see other photo. He seems to have lost a lot of weight in this photo--must have been taken later, and he is a General here, not a Colonel That's a sharp suit--very stylish.

Pascual Orozco Vázquez, (1882-1915) born in Hacienda Santa Inés [other sources say Santa Isabel], near San Isidro, municipal territory of Guerrero. His father Pascual Orozco Sr. (you may find a picture of him in this Bain collection, cal nr. LC-B2-2563-11) and his mother Amada Vázquez . I agree about the name but is bad writing. The right way to write this last name is "Orozco". Maybe an american or a poor educated man write this in the original's negative. Alejandro Joya from México

Correct spelling is "Orozco", for General Pascual Orozco, one of Pancho Villa's closests. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascual_Orozco I work in that building in the left, which today is a museum. Actually, my office is the best-seen window in the pic.
