  Cool it's stereogram. If you merge the two pics like a magic eye picture it becomes 3D.

  its a stereoview, not a stereogram. A stereogram is a single composite 3D (or animated) image that uses a barrier screen to hide the opposing parts of the 3D image from the left and right eyes respectively.

  There is a very small amount of parallax between the views but virtually no 3D effect because the scene has no objects in the foreground. Even so I take my hat off to the pioneers of 3D photography. It's rare that you see a 'dud' like this.
