O'Hearn was named All-America by Walter Camp that season ... " Jack O'Hearn played in the National Football League (NFL) in 1920 with the Cleveland Tigers and in 1921 with the Buffalo All-Americans. Edgar Jonathan "Spike" Staff, (b. 1892) Class of 1915, played Right Guard (Number 11) for Brown University football, in this game against Cornell University, October 24, 1914, at the Polo Grounds (Brush Stadium) in New York. Cornell vanquished Brown 28 - 7. "Spike" Staff later played one season of NFL professional football with the Providence Steam Roller in 1925 — [1] [2] [3]
