Looks like a giant coffin!

The New York State Department of Education Building in Albany was dedicated on October 17, 1912, and was the work of architect Henry Hornbostel. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. And, yes, it does look rather like a giant coffin— but then, isn't the educational bureaucracy charged with burying childhood's hopes and dreams?

Photos of this wreck shouldn't be tagged "NYC", if they're of the March 13, 1912 crash -- that happened outside of the city, in Hyde Park.
