Food Export Corporation of America and the New York Band Instrument Company were both located at 111 East 14th Street, Manhattan. A short walk to the southeast from Union Square.

The caption on the negative is "N.Y. B'd Inst., Co." (New York Band Instrument Co., see www.horn-u-copia.net/Reference/display.php?thisrec=764), I can't see any connection to Waldman's. I have been assuming that Waldman's was from a Bain caption card, but ...
Looking for Waldman ...
www.victor-victrola.com/NewYork.htm lists a Waldman's Victor/Victrola store at 601 9th Avenue and shows a photograph somewhat similar to the store in
but definitely not the same.
www.americanradiohistory.com/Archive-Talking-Machine/20s/... (dated in 1924) also has Waldman's at 601 9th Ave.
archive.org/details/talkingmachine17bill/page/n135 , an issue of Talking Machine World from July 1921 has a copy of
and describes it as "a new Victor store at Forty-third street and Ninth Avenue."
I'm thinking that this group of pictures is of at least two separate phonograph stores.
