  Thank you so much for posting this! Moïse le 1er Lessard ('Moses 1') was my great-great grandfather. He donated land in Flinton to the Catholic Church. His land is where St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, it's cemetery and manse now stand. His portrait is on display in the "Lessard Room" at St. John The Evangelist.

  Ken, Yes, this is my great-great Moses Lessard 1st (senior). He was the father of Moses Lessard II and Eli Lessard. He was indeed the grandfather of Wilfred L. Lessard, who descended from Moses Lessard II.
