This sas house is located on the Minnewater in Bruges. It is a detached house built in 1519 following the rebuilding of the sluice complex for the purpose of water management and water level control of the interior lines. In 1895-1896 it was thoroughly restored to a design by architect L. Delacenserie. The lock has been out of use since the 1970s. The sas house was built above the lock. It is a rare example of dredging and shut-down work with three threats, one of which is sealed (l.), One with iron closing plate (r.) And centrally sealed by a wooden door with natural stone middle style. In 1996 the sas house was protected as a monument.
