  I'm sure you're already aware of his Australian Army papers, which includes an eye-witness account of his death. recordsearch.naa.gov.au/scripts/Imagine.asp?B=3091396 His father Aaron seems to have been very active both as a businessman and philantrhopist. www.oztorah.com/2010/07/jewish-scholarship-in-sydney-betw... His death was announced in the Tuesday 14th August edition of the The Melbourne Argus.
