If you go to Goole Maps in satelite or map views go aproximately 12 miles south from Casas Grandes and 3 miles west, aside from Peña Dorada, you'll find pictures of this building as the main house (casco de hacienda) of Hacienda de San Diego as it was its real name. There you can check that name engraved in the big medallion on the front porch. Could it be that Madero was here before beeing in Bustillos after his defeat in Casas Grandes on March 6, 1911, or he advanced from here first towards Casas Grandes and this picture is related to either? Found an article in El Paso Herald, issue March 10, 1911 (The Library of Congress, Cronicling America ) in a subtitle "Rebels Gather Again": "It is reported here this evening that Pascual Orozco and his band has arrived at San Diego ranch....." It is stablished that Don Jacobo's ranch is San Diego (ranch) Hacienda. Is it possible this picture reffers to the events and date above mentioned and the man on the white horse in the front center of the picture is Pascual Orozco Jr.? So far, I haven't found something that mentions a stay of Madero in San Diego Hacienda. Dr. Roberto Duarte Plastic Surgeon
