Mrs. Booth Tarkington (LOC)

    Another portrait of a Mrs. Booth Tarkington in the LOC uploads: Booth Tarkington was married to poet Laurel Louisa Fletcher (d. 1923) from 1902-1911, and married to Susannah Kiefer Robinson from 1912 until his death in 1946.

In the 1890s she was married for five years to Temple A. Robinson of London, then divorced. In 1912 she married Booth Tarkington, by then well-known as a playwright and novelist. He had previously married and been divorced from Louise Fletcher, daughter of banker Stoughton A. Fletcher."

From that I would say that this picture is definitely of a different woman and thus his second wife, Susanah. The blog has contributions from Louisa's family. The other portrait, the one pennyrichardsca has displayed the thumbnail for, could be Louisa.
