Mathilde Helene Lundager, née Biltoft (1860-1934), married (photographer) Jens Hansen Lundager (1853-1930), in 1882. They had seven children, two of whom died of diphtheria in 1890.

Hulda Helene Lundager, born in 1888 in Queensland, was the second oldest daughter. Later in life (1913) Hulda was a music teacher, and then (1922) a nurse at General Hospital, East Street, Ipswich. [1] [2]

There's another photo of Hulda in the State Library of Queensland’s collection on Flickr:

At the time it was really difficult to take a good picture with a cat and a child. Great work.

What a great photo - cats are notoriously hard to take photos of. I wonder if the photographer at the time needed to take more than one?
