Possibly the Big Island of Hawai'i, Waipio Valley at lower left. If the image was larger I would be looking for the foot trail along that steep wall above the valley. I see a line here that could be that trail. Note the very steep sea cliffs at the coastline, a dramatic feature of the island's north shore; there are similar cliffs in the island chain, including very similar on the island of Moloka'i. This is not enough to 'locate' it, but if other photos fall into place it could help.
