The boy sitting on the steps looks like a childhood friend of mine. I wonder what he was looking at, and what he was thinking about when this photo was taken, or what he would say if he knew that approximately 134 years in the future, people, like myself, from thousands of miles away from lovely Clovelly, would be looking at him would be wondering about what became of him? Did he grow up to be married, did he have children, where did he work, who took the photo, etc., etc. All-in-all, a very thought provoking photo. Thanks for sharing.
