She came to the United States in September 1911 to compete in the Nassau Boulevard Aerodrome International Aviation Meet , Garden City , Long Island, New York. If the date on the photo is correct, 1911 Sept. 26 photo was taken in front of one of the hangars at Nassau Boulevard Aerodrome
