The notes in the archive say House is probably St Annes which I take to mean St. Ann's in Clontarf, but I don't think that is right, compare this archive shot the columns/portico in Clontarf is less massive, more ornate.

CLON_1079 nearby in the index features the same dog and a different angle on the house. Likewise CLON_1075 likewise. This house and gardens were huge, like Powerscourt size.

Aha! Maybe Baronscourt? Yes, here are the massive pillars (The notes on nearby dogtastic CLON_1076 say Parkland in distance, on the grounds of one of the following houses St Annes, Baronscourt, Glenart, Shelton. leading me to look up Baronscourt)

Centennial Celebration, King and John Streets

I was reading today that they had a huge celebration from the August 6th to 11th 1913 for the "Centennial Celebration" and it was a smashing success. It's very nice to see all these citizens of Hamilton coming out to celebrate together.
