grandcentral

Wow, amazing shot. I work two blocks away from Grand Central and it's very interesting to see the changes from then and now like the Met Life Bldg that now prominently sticks out of the back of GC.

amazing contrast -- it looks more like a drawing than a photograph -- or am i being dense? -- Seen on a rss aggregator. (?)

You're not dense. It's a drawing.

some people have more talent than a camera!

Grand Central Terminal - 100 years old today (February 1, 2013)

nice shot

"In the Heart of the Hibernian Metropolis BEFORE NELSON'S PILLAR TRAILS SLOWED, SHUNTED, CHANGED TROLLEY, started for Blackrock, Kingstown and Dalkey, Clonskea, Rathgar and Terenure, Palmerston park and upper Rathmines, Sandymount Green, Rathmines, Ringsend and Sandymount Tower, Harold's Cross. The hoarse Dublin United Tramway Company's timekeeper bawled them off: -- Rathgar and Terenure! -- Come on, Sandymount Green! Right and left parallel clanging ringing a doubledecker and a singledeck moved from their railheads, swerved to the down line, glided parallel. -- Start, Palmerston park!" Ulysses, the Aeolus episode. I think TRAILS should be TRAMS

Trams bearing advertisements from the 1930s anyway.

Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties 'cause it's cooooold out there today.

ZI 1 to ZI 9999 (Mar 1927 – May 1933); So after Mar 1927
