[Rjukanfos, Telemarken (i.e, Telemark), Norway] (LOC)

This waterfall was 'tamed' in 1905 to provide hydro-electricity for the company that would later become Norsk Hydro. In fact, it provided electricity for Hydro's Rjukan plant, famed for the WW2 sabotage attack by 'the Heroes of Telemark'. It's rarely seen in such a state nowadays - it's normally more of a trickle (although not in this photo). A shame to harness such a natural wonder maybe, but Norway's not short of spectacular waterfalls, and this one helped to put Norway on the path to being an industrialized nation.

My guess is, at the exact moment the shutter tripped, a portal to Hell opened and sucked that guy in. Or there was a light leak. I'm going with Hell Portal.
