  His mitt has just the thumb and other fingers, but he's not wearing chest protector or shin pads. At one time the first baseman had a light weight mitt rather than the five fingered glove.

  1913 Philadelphia Athletics statistics Oddly, their roster from that year doesn't list Pat Kilhullen. The only reference I can find to him is this, but he only played one game for the Pirates in 1914.
