If you are in Dublin tomorrow you might like to join us at Library Towers for our International Women’s Day lecture: 'What Did the Women Do Anyway' Friday 8 March, 1.05pm Join Liz Gillis, Author and Historian for this talk on the generation of politically active and socially aware women from 1916 – 1923. Spies, gunrunners and propaganda experts. These are just some of roles women undertook during the Irish revolution. They were the 'Invisible Army' without whom the Irish revolution could not have succeeded. All welcome. Booking not required. (or you could just say that Morning Mary invited you!)
