Sydney Harbour from Vaucluse

Thanks to Mr. Google, I have ascertained that this is St. Michael's Church of England at Vaucluse. It has grown a rather tall spire since this photo was taken but the small bell tower on the harbour side of the building is still recognisable.

Copied to commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ancient_City_of_Beejnuggu... Where is this place? I assume in India somewhere? Thanks for posting these!

I understand it's an impressive complex of ancient ruins in southern India. The modern spelling of these two places appears to be Vijayanagara and Kamalapura.

Yes. This is Vijayanagara (Hampi) near Kamalapura village. The photo pertains to Lotus Mahal. at the Janana enclosure, where you find the Elephant stable.
