My Grandmother remembered seeing the Duke of Windsor in Coonamble around this time, where she lived as a small girl with her family who ran one of the Pubs there. Nana said the Duke of Windsor was travelling to his property out that way, Wingadee.

I don't really care about his personal life, but I remember him as being a really great PR man. He made the Empire look good where ever he went. And he was always seen in a really nice car.

Just a hint of the zeppelin. It's refreshing to see the curiousity of the several viewers 'frozen' :)

This must be the future George V. If it was really shot in 1910, it must be early in the year, as his father died and he became king-emperor in May. It's possible that this was shot after George V ascended the throne, in which case the PoW would be the young man in the checkered cap, the future Edward VIII, who was but 16 in 1910.
