Mickey Devine was a Providence, RI, boxer active in the ring from 1910 to 1921. The only information I can find about him is this bout list from BoxRec, two brief mentions in NY Times articles when he was low on the card, and one Times Article telling of his defeat by Willie Houck in a ten round bout fought in April, 1912.

I thought the same thing too! He probably had a hard time dodging punches with a head that big... On a serious note, there was a professional boxer named Jimmy Devine that lived around that time. I wonder if this was his brother.
