Klemm L25D D-EGOP is reported to have arrived to Rio onboard Graf Zeppelin. As far as is known it was never registered in Brazil but sold to Argentina. Stig

Yes, the image shows Graf Zeppelin engine car.

The aircraft belonged to J. Boeckel from Hamburg, who planed to use the aircraft for a cross-Andes flight from Buenos Aires to Chile. Transport should be dated around Nov. 1934. Might be, that the aircraft later was returned to Germany.

Yes Paul Julius von Boeckel sold the aircraft to Edmundo Lutter (or Lotter, sources differ) in Argentina and it was registered R-283 23 Aug 1935 and later LV-MCA on 1 July 1938. It was sold to Eduardo Ricci on 11 Nov 1939 but was lost in an accident (no date is known) later that same month. It was stricken from the Argentinian register 27 November. I wonder if it ever made the crossing of the Andes? I feel it is a bit unlikely it ever returned to Germany. Stig

Hindenburg at Lowenthal Hangar, September 1936. Note the freshly-repainted patch of fabric around the ship's name which first appeared during the Nuremburg flight.
