Hi, we're administrators for a group called Preserving Cultural Heritage Around the World, and we'd love to have this added to the group! Dear Smithsonian Institution, The “Preserving Cultural Heritage Around the World” Flickr set asks you to share your images or create new ones that show how people in different countries preserve their cultural traditions, especially minority cultures and ethnic groups. This set will feature photos and videos sent to us in response to the query “Be proud of who you are! How do people in your country celebrate and preserve their cultural traditions?” The Flickr project is part of a special feature on America.gov – Preserving Minority Cultures -- that shows how America is enhanced by the traditions of its various immigrant and Native American communities. It samples some of the many ways minority cultures are encouraged to thrive. Please add your photographs to our Flickr set and describe in the caption box what your image is about.
