  During the Inaugural Parade and the events surrounding it, Indiana Governor Thomas R. Marshall, the Vice President Elect, was escorted by sixty cadets of the Black Horse Troop of Indiana's Culver Military Academy. This photo shows cadets escorting Marshall from the church he attended on Sunday, March 2, 1913. The Inauguration was held two days later.
